About Me:
My approach to therapy is one of person-centered care and collaboration to create a safe and non-judgmental space for people to be able to freely express their thoughts and feelings. My goal is to build a trusting therapeutic relationship in which you feel heard, seen, and accepted. Utilizing a strengths-based and solution-focused framework, I will collaborate with you to identify goals, develop skills, and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and beliefs. I am trained in a number of different evidence based approaches and will work with you to come up with a treatment plan that is tailor made to fit your needs.
I have experience working with adults, teens, and children in mental health clinics and integrated care management settings. I have a special interest in working with those struggling with anxiety and/or challenges managing intrusive thought patterns, women's mental health concerns, and working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Any positive change, no matter how small, can be challenging, but also very powerful. The most rewarding part of my job is being able to witness people overcome challenges and deep rooted fears, make positive changes, and increase self acceptance. I look forward to working with you.
